Fatehpur Sikri

We visited ghost city that was really quite isolated and I could see how it was deserted after 15yrs of use.

you can see a little of the decorative paintings- part of elephant

we stopped in a beautiful setting for lunch. We had just had a thunderstorm so it was still a bit damp.

Again throughout our travels and especially around the train station the poverty was obvious.

After taking photos of this family they sent the kids over to beg so time for me to get the crisps, cereal bars and biscuits out again. One little child who was at least 1 1/2 years although small didn't seem to know what to do with the biscuit, then it dawned on me it was still probably breast fed so food could be kept for the others as long as possible.

I love the train more so than the coach as I never have travel sickness and can read as I travel. however I didn't do much reading as loved watching the sites as we travelled to ward Ranthambohr
I hadn't thought mouch about the safari on this trip but at this point I was quite excited. For some of the group it was one of the reasons they came along.
