Glendalough

Derrybawn bridge C1700
The sunshine was hiding today but we were happy as there was no rain. We stopped at a craft store along the way which was an old mill. I think it sold enough aran jumpers that would have clothed Ireland. I do enjoy my knitting but these items are so coarse I can't imagine who buys them.

We carried on to Glendalough which was a very beautiful area with lots of walks in the hills. We decided on a 2hour walk which was quite a climb at times but plenty of small streams for Smudge to get drinks.

We came home via Aughrim a very small village with a lot of history.
