Gwyn meets her Irish relatives and what a wonderful welcome from the Mcneill family

Gwyn got to meet her cousin Harry and I also got to find out lots of information about my own family. We had such a wonderful welcoming visit to the McNeills home. We talked about the grand parents and great grandparents growing up and the cultural attitudes of the day compared to now. Gwyn and Harry swapped childhood photos and looked on similarities even down to their similar lifestyles as they grew up even though one was in North Wales and the other in Northern Ireland.

even the cat gave a huge welcome

We stayed in Portadown overnight so I could show Gwyn the town her father grew up in and where he lived. The present owner came to chat and asked us back anytime to visit.

We also visited the Argory national trust property and had a great guide Paul.
