Last day before I leave Megan behind in Ireland and I go off to USA

I paid my friend Danielle a visit in St George's market to get some souvenirs to take to USA. Megan and I had some liquid breakfast. I chose turmeric, ginger, nutmeg, parsnip and apple.
Megan checking out all. The places she has been here this semester. Then after lunch we took to the road with Smudge. First stop Donaghadee light house.
Then onto Bangor for a coastal walk from Bangor to Crawfordsburn.
Back home for some cosy time

Catching up on Art and Craft

Life has been busy with many visitors and so many things to pack in before my trip to USA. This put me a bit under pressure when I was unwell but thankfully I am in the mend and  art and craft has been time for relaxation. It was a delight to have Megan's mum and aunt visit from Ct and Puerto Rico and I can't believe I didn't take any photographs. It was a bit of a whirlwind visit.
Loved this colour pencil subject

The Kiwoko stall went well this week raising over £160 on craft sales as well as over £40 on Facebook sales. More projects finished and more started.

My friend Julie determined to have me well with her nutri bullet

Blessings abound with this wonderful weather

ABOVE - my recent oil painting under the instruction of Julie Douglas

I am so thankful for this wonderful weather. Autumn is my favourite season with the falling leaves and beautiful colours as we move from one season to another. This year really has been a blessing as although we feel the cooler weather and I am persuaded to wear a coat and have the heat on at times the rain has been minimal.

With the new season comes many changes. We choose to eat different things as I have started making soups and tea loaves rather than salads and light cakes.

I am turning to my crafts as I start to make things for Christmas and sale items for Kiwoko fundraising.

Smudge isn't so excited about walking and feeling the cold after her very short groom so she now has her coat on for walks as well.

Mountstewart one of our favourite places really shows off Autumn and the Festival of Lights was amazing although my camera just doesn't show it. Google Mountstewart Festival of Lights to gain a little of the experience for yourself and if you live nearby its a must to visit. However he event is selling out so you need to be quick.
Coffee and craft continues bringing ladies together with a similar interest, time to chat, have a cuppa and pick up some tips from each other.between one thing and another this last month we raised over £400 for Kiwoko.
This month I am particularly busy getting organised for a stall at the Ulster hospital in tues 18th and then off to USA for Thanksgiving to spend time with family in Ct and friends in NY.
