Lazy Days of Summer

I wonder are our memories severely distorted by time. I seem to remember school ending and immediately being able to wear shorts and t-shirt. The summer also seemed to stretch forever feeling more like six months than two. Now on the other hand we get short spells of sunshine which cannot be assured even by the weather man.
Our guest Daisy and Smudge are making the most of the sunny spells, having fun in the garden exhausting themselves before coming indoors to collapse in a cool spot.
I am enjoying summer menus moving away from soups and stews but also feel a bit more energetic taking some Pilates and Zumba classes.

At least every other day I get to sit in the garden if not too breezy as I detest draughts.
This means crochet is as popular in summer as it is in winter.
