Coffee,craft and coursework

This week I have really felt the hip of Winter and so glad to be indoors. My best friend has been poorly with ear infections so she has also opted to be indoors getting plenty of cuddles.
I started into my new City and Guilds course in design and patchwork and thoroughly enjoying it. Still continuing with my Friday morning patchwork class and attended my first patchwork guild.
Although never liked the theory much in my art class it has really come in handy.

Working on the N.Ireland Big Sock and had some ladies round to join in.
Also managed to catch up on some family history and whilst having the Lambeg craft club round for an update on Kiwoko, I had a relative drop in from Glasgow whom I hadn't met before. I found her uncle a few years back after telephoning around the Austins from the phone book as I had came to a standstill so was lovely to meet her in person.

Hopefully Jeanette will get to visit again when over from Scotland.
Smudge just loves visitors as that means even more attention than usual.

This week I plan to finish clearing the attic and completing the re organisation of my craft room. Presently all furniture is in position and I made a sewing corner with two new shelves. There is now walking space through the room but the clutter is now deposited on the bed so will take a while to sort that.

Today we managed a walk in Mountstewart and it was lovely when the sunshine but I the shade it felt so icy. We had only arrived home when there was a short snow flurry. It's been a relaxing day starting the week as I mean to go on. Completed my daily crochet row for my sky blanket and working on a birthday pressie due end of month. Lovely dinner and plenty of cuddles from Smudge.
