Mark Twain House and Elizabeth Park in Hartford

Another beautiful morning in Ct. the Pokemon here aren't any different in Eaton Rd from Old Gorge Lane.
But certainly very relaxing. The first creature I saw this morning was a chipmunk and the first I heard as I awoke was my friend the woodpecker.

Little chipmunk above.

Off to Hartford and our first stop was Elizabeth Park. It's been 31 years since I was here with great aunt Molly.
Well renowned for its roses but still very pretty at this time of year.
A few roses still around.

Lots of friendly squirrels

And chipmunks.

Strange looking sunflowers.
This tree looked as if it was producing lemons, limes and grapefruit.

Geese not quite like those in Kiltonga
Now J wants me to paint flowers on our fence. Help Julie Fouglas!!
Another idea he is considering.
Mark Twain house another place I haven't seen in over 30 years.
The tour guide was excellent
The Capitol ,Hartford than back to Tolland and found out Mark Twain (Sam Clemens) is a far out relative of uncle Als.
