And sew on...

My craft room got an accidental tidy last week but it was well over due. It was also fortunate that I didn't find the pattern I needed until I had most of the room tidied.

Most of this year has been focussed on my city and guilds design and Patchwork course and I have just finished the last item so of course my mind is racing ahead to what next? I do plan further study with them as I have never been happier when lost in my room creating. However this next year I plan to finish projects and the one thing I really need to get caught up on is scrapbooks going and my dollshouse also cries out to me each time I pass it in the hall.

Coffee and crafters have been sewing a lot lately and in particular hand sewing.

I have made a number of cards for the January raffle

I have also tried to make ahead for family.

I have also completed a piece of hexagons for the N.I Big sock and started in another piece. I find it so relaxing doing whip stitch.

The patchwork guild demo day was very interesting and my guests thoroughly enjoyed it too.

I loved how Joanne embellished her bag and will definitely try the technique that Lyndsey showed us. Despite my busy schedule and less coffee and craft sessions there is still a lot being done and thoroughly enjoying our monthly meetup, movie and meal.

And the crochet may have taken a back seat but far from forgotten. I just got another blanket finished in time for a new arrival this week.
