Northern Ireland patchwork Guild- end of season show and tell

I have started with my favourite which we did last year in a Friday workshop and Valerie has made into a tablecloth. Her fabric pattern worked so well for this design. We showed off items we made from workshops and also the Glenada weekend. Some items however are presently on display at The Island Art Centre in Lisburn until he end of the month.
Brian showed us two amazing quilts he found in his attic which reminds me I have some old inherited fabrics in mine I haven't looked at in years.

The photographs do not do the pieces justice. The appliqué on Esmes quilt is gorgeous.

 Lots of baby quilts

..but I do adore the creativity in the smaller pieces that have a meaning as Esmes little gifts for friends.
The liberty quilt that Valerie made for charity was so beautiful and to give that away will be difficult but will mean a lot to someone.
Ann  made a bag at Pauline Openneers workshop to match her dress and jacket she had also made.
A cushion from Paula's workshop and twin quilts converted to a double.

Irene made a sewing machine cover inspired also by Pauline Openneers love of tweed.
 Valerie's dragonfly workshop.

We had a swap of a 6 inch square of the same colour scheme which was a fun thing to do
