My patchwork Ladies

Having recently finished City&Guilds Level 2 in design and Patchwork with the school of stitched textiles I wanted to out all I had learned into practice. I had four willing volunteers to be my guinea pigs. I am delighted to say they have came on in leaps and bounds.

They were doing so well I suggested we make the Alice Caroline charity quilt.  This quilt is made from liberty fabric which is a delight to work with. I designed the quilt and gave each of the ladies a part to complete after I cut out the pieces.

I did the middle section.

We are now ready for the wadding and backing but the ladies are continuing to learn new blocks.
Most evenings they complete two new blocks
The crazy quilt caused a little concern for those who like things perfect.

And a fidget quilt Linda completed
